Our friend Jane

Flora Jane was born on January 2, 1966 on a chilly winter's day in Killam, Alberta to parents Eileen and Eric. Jane narrowly missed being the New Years Baby that year (we're sure she did that on purpose as she's never loved being the centre of attention).

Quick Facts About Jane

Jane grew up on a grain and cattle farm and kept and rode horses, her first love and passion.
Jane is the oldest of three siblings.
Jane met her husband Ken when they were six years old in the local 4-H group. They didn't start dating until high school, but have been together ever since. They'll be married for 39 years this coming May.
Jane is a super mom to three adult children, Cody, Kayla and Brady, and will become a Grandma for the first time in March 2026.
Jane's favourite colours are blue and purple.
Jane volunteers a large portion of her time with The Summit Edmonton, helping lead the Deliverance and Prayer teams.
Jane also holds a spot on prayer teams across the country and internationally.
Jane received her Bachelors in Ministry in 2013, and hasn't stopped learning since. To know Jane is to know her love and thirst for knowledge and truth.
Jane holds her Christian Life Coaching certification, and loves encouraging others on their own unique journeys.
Jane is a talented artist and paints with acrylics when she finds inspiration (and time).
Jane retired as a hairstylist in the late 2010's after a 25 year career.
Jane's favourite treat is dark chocolate, or dairy free ice cream treats.
Jane starts most days with an Oat Milk Matcha Latte.
